The Eloquia Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Pledge
Made on the record by Saqib Khan as director, October 2026. Each promise is one a one person consultancy can keep, and you can hold us to every line.
Eloquia pledges that
1. We treat every client, witness, complainant and colleague with the same respect, whatever their background. We challenge discrimination wherever we meet it in a case, including when it comes from the other side.
2. We make reasonable adjustments for any client who needs them, in meetings, in documents and at hearings. We also ask the regulator or tribunal for the adjustments that only it can grant.
3. When we act as investigator, chair or mediator, we hear every person in the process on the same terms. We record any adjustment we make so that the fairness of the process stays on the record.
4. We choose counsel and expert witnesses on their ability for the case in hand. When we do, we look beyond the names we already know.
5. If Eloquia hires, we will advertise every role with its pay stated. We will structure and score interviews against the work, and we will ask nobody to explain a gap in their career.
6. If anyone raises a concern about how we have treated them, Saqib Khan deals with it personally and in writing.
