Accessibility statement
Where this website stands against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and what we have not yet tested. It also sets out how to ask for information in another format or for adjustments in your case.

1. Scope
This statement covers the website at eloquia.co.uk. It also explains the adjustments we make for clients. That is because accessibility in defence work reaches beyond a web page into meetings, documents and hearings.
2. Our standard
We build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. Eloquia is a private company, so the public sector accessibility regulations do not apply to it. Even so, the Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments does apply, and we treat that standard as the floor.
3. What we have done
- Every page uses semantic landmarks and headings in order, with one main heading per page.
- A skip link at the top of each page takes keyboard users straight to the content.
- Every photograph carries a written description, and no image alone carries any information.
- Body text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background. In addition, focus outlines are visible on every link, button and field.
- Pages reflow to a 375 pixel screen without sideways scrolling and work at 200 per cent zoom.
- The site works without JavaScript, apart from the button that opens the menu on a small screen. With scripts off, the menu links remain in the page footer.
- The contact form labels every field and works with a keyboard alone.
4. Known limitations
We have checked the site against the points above ourselves. No independent accessibility specialist has audited it yet, and we have not tested it with every screen reader. Fee tables change their layout on small screens. If you find any table hard to follow with assistive technology, tell us and we will send the information in another form.
5. Other formats and adjustments
You may need something on this site in large print, as a plain text document or read to you over the telephone. If so, ask and we will provide it. Clients should tell us about any adjustment they need for meetings, documents or hearings. We will make it, and we will also ask the regulator or tribunal for any adjustment that only they can grant.
Contact hello@eloquia.co.uk, telephone 07356 071 193, or post to Eloquia Ltd, Arden Hall, Brooklands Road, Sale M33 3SJ.
6. Reporting a problem
If something on the site does not work for you, tell us which page and what happened. We reply within five working days and fix what we can. If our response does not satisfy you, our complaints procedure applies. The Equality Advisory and Support Service also gives free advice on discrimination.
7. Review
We review this statement when the site changes in a way that affects accessibility, and at least once a year.
