We treat every message as confidential. In your first message, tell us only what we need to arrange a conversation. That means the type of matter, the stage it has reached and any deadline you face. Keep the detail of what happened for when we speak. Our privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
First contact
What happens when you get in touch
Your first conversation may be with our AI assistant. It tells you at the start that it is an AI assistant, not a person and not a lawyer. Nothing it says is legal advice. It takes your details and goes through a short questionnaire about your matter. That way Saqib has what he needs before you speak to him. Any view on your case comes from Saqib, once he has read what you told the assistant.
The questionnaire may ask about your health and about the allegation against you, including any criminal allegation. That is because Saqib needs both to help you. You can leave any question unanswered and give that detail to Saqib instead. The assistant keeps a record of what you tell it for Saqib alone, and we hold it in confidence. Our privacy notice explains how we handle it.
Some matters are urgent, such as a booked police interview or a close hearing date. We mark those urgent so that Saqib sees them first. If we can take your matter on, we arrange an appointment with Saqib at a time that suits you both. You can ask at any point to deal with Saqib rather than the assistant, and we arrange that.
